At this one-hour information session, you'll hear more about the scholarship and master's programs at McGill's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Founded in 1829, McGill's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences has almost 2,500 graduate student researchers in 20+ programs. Graduate trainees play critical roles in the creation of new knowledge that will change how we think about molecular and cellular mechanisms, impact health and affect clinical practice.

Departments include Anatomy and Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Ethics, Clinical and Translational Research, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Occupational Health, Family Medicine, Institute of Health Sciences Education, Human Genetics, Medical Physics, Microbiology and Immunology, Nursing, Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, Pathology, Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Physical and Occupational Therapy, Physiology, Psychiatry, Social Studies of Medicine, and Surgical and Interventional Sciences.

As a McCall MacBain Scholar, you will connect with mentors, develop your leadership skills, and receive full funding to start a master's or professional degree at McGill University. The scholarship covers all tuition and fees, plus a living stipend of $2,300 per month during academic terms, summer funding options, and a relocation grant. Applications for our 2027 cohort are open until August/September 2026.

Scholarship Eligibility

To be eligible for our 2027 cohort, you will need to meet at least ONE of the following criteria:

You are a current student on track to earn your first bachelor’s degree by August 2027
You earned your first bachelor’s degree in the last five years (January 2021 or later)
You earned your first bachelor’s degree more than five years ago and were 30 years or younger on January 1st, 2026

We welcome applicants of all citizenships and nationalities. Two-thirds of our scholarships are offered to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and refugees, and one-third are offered to international candidates.
